Welcome at the Boarding School and welcome to the boarding school life
Struer Statsgymnasium’s boarding school has approximately 140 Danish and international students. With the many different nationalities at the boarding school, different cultures and languages meet and coexist.
At the boarding school, we respect and celebrate diversity. As a student living at the boarding school, you will not only move away from home but also find your place in a new community. The boarding school at Struer Statsgymnasium will enable you to live in a creative and warm environment. As a resident, you will live among other young students who are here to live and to study.
We offer several Danish national curriculum programmes and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (the IB DP).
To make the boarding a nice and safe place to live and an inspiring place to study, we ask you to be open-minded and caring. We also expect that students are serious about school, attend classes on time and are well prepared. In return, we promise that your stay with us will be full of experiences, meaningful activities and ever-lasting friendships. As a resident at the boarding school, you have freedom with responsibility.
As in a family, you have to follow common rules and norms. We depend on each other at the boarding school and we depend on your ability to communicate well with your friends and the boarding school staff.
