Applicants coming from the Danish folkeskole, or other secondary schooling in Denmark would usually apply through optagelse.dk, the UU counsellor at your school will assist you with the procedure.
Applicants coming from a non-Danish school must apply through a special application form (You can apply to our school by using the blue bar down below).
Danish schools have been instructed by the Danish Ministry of Education that all applications for the Pre-IB programme must be submitted through an online platform www.optagelse.dk.
Please note that it is only possible to apply through ‘optagelse.dk’ from February 1st to March 1st at 12pm in the year you are applying for, after that, the portal will close.

Once you have applied for the IB programme at our school (this applies to both the Pre-IB and the IB Diploma Programme), you will receive an automatically generated message from the application portal once we have received and processed your application. The message will inform you whether you have been:
After this, there may be a considerable period before you hear from the school again, depending on when you submitted your application.
If you have also applied for a place at the boarding school, you will receive separate notification regarding your boarding application from the school’s finance admissions office.
If you are offered a place, you will receive a letter confirming your admission in May. In June, you will receive your final admission letter, together with information about your first day at school and the school’s IB policies.
